The aim of this document is to inform the individual (hereinafter “User”) about the data treatment carried out by the Airtree mobile application (hereinafter “Application”), developed by Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA), with head quarter in Via della Navicella 2/4, 00184 Rome, CF 97231970589, e-mail address crea@crea.gov.it.

In compliance with the principle of "privacy by design", the Application does not require the registration by the User and therefore it does not process personal data.

The Application does not track the user's images and locations in any way. Access to the camera and the geolocation system is used exclusively for functional needs of the Application: the geolocation system is used to support the User in the use of cartographic tools, while the camera to provide an estimate of the quantity of leaves in the vegetation. Furthermore, images taken by the camera are not permanently recorded by the Application.
